EVERYTHING IS READY TO BEGIN THE SHOOTING OF “PENUMBRA”

  

 “PENUMBRA” is the new feature film of PAURA FLICS, produced by CINEMAGROUP

and TRES MENTES, and directed by ADRIAN and RAMIRO GARCIA BOGLIANO. 

A few days from starting the shooting of the film, scheduled to begin June 14, the cast of this international production is confirmed.

Adding to the participation of the Spanish actress Cristina Brondo, Camila Bordonaba (from the TV series “Chiquititas” y “Rebelde Way”), Mirella Pascual (“Whisky”, nominated for the Cóndor to Best Actress for “El último verano de la boyita”), Sebastián Muñiz (“Filmatron”, “Promedio Rojo”, member of Farsa Producciones) and featuring Arnaldo André y Gustavo Garzón.

The cast also includes usual actors and actresses from Paura Flics such as Diego Cremonesi (“Masacre esta Noche”), Victoria Witemburg (“Habitaciones para Turistas”), Omar Gioiosa (“Sudor Frio”), Federico Aimetta (“Masacre esta Noche”), Marisol Tur (“No Moriré Sola”), Gimena Blesa (“36 Pasos”), Jorge Pinarello (“Masacre esta Noche”) and the musician Hernán “Mosky” Penner (Former member of the band Manos de Filippi –  actual leader of Elektromanos)

The Catalan actress, Cristina Brondo, has an extensive career not only in Spain, but also abroad, staring on theater, TV (Spanish hits such as “Herederos”, “Abogados” and “Vida de Familia”) and movies (“Hipnos”, a horror film internationally reknowned; “Ti piace Hitchcock?”, by Darío Argento; “Russian Dolls” and “The Spanish Apartment”, by Cédrick Klapisch; and “¿Do I Know You?”, by Antonio Mercero) 

“Penumbra” tells the story of Marga, a Spanish businesswoman passing through Argentina, who is showing a flat for rent to potential tenants. She’ll soon realize that the tenants are not what they seem to be and have macabre plans for her and her flat…

The movie is going to be entirely shot in the Argentinean city of La Plata. Soon we’ll reveal more news of this new film supported by the INCAA and executively produced Horacio Mentasti, Alberto Trigo and Esteban Mentasti. 

The horror movies production house Paura Flics is well knowned for the films “Habitaciones Para Turistas”, “Grité Una Noche”, “36 Pasos”, “No Moriré Sola”, “Masacre Esta Noche” and “Sudor Frío” (being postproduced); besides the movie “Donde Duerme El Horror”, directed by Adrián and Ramiro García Bogliano for the production company La Zaranda, being released in Costa Rica and Panamá this June as the first Center-American horror movie ever.
